Meet Doug Daniels

Thanks for listening to Mix 105.3 at home; in the car and especially while you work!

My name is Doug Daniels and I am presently in the 3rd year of programming KONA FM. (I also program 610 KONA)

I program the music; create the promotions and contests; sweep the floors and milk the cows! One of my favorite things is to perform wake up duties on the Mix Morning Show. The objective of the show is to help you start your day with some music; some information; (like weather with Troy Barrett and News with Dennis Shannon) have some of fun; (Playing the Nearly Impossible Trivia Contest at 7:40am; What's the Connection at 8:40am and What's This Song at 6:40am) and share observations of the world through the prism of my life experiences. I like to share.

I am married to Denise Daniels. We have one son: Daniel. One dog named Davey and a cat we adopted named...the cat.

I enjoy movies; music and reading books on success and spirituality.

6:12am: John Tesh Inltelligence for Your Life Minute

6:40am: "What's This Song" game. We play a snippet of a song. You identify and call in to win.
7:28am: The Weather Chat with Troy Barrett from KEPR TV comes in and gives you the latest and greatest wetaher information then usually hangs around for the rest the hour providing witty banter about all things "Troy".

7:40am: "Nearly Impossible Trivia Question" aka The NIQ. I pose a question (Usually with %'s and you guess the answer. Fun to play along with at home and cool prizes to win.

8:12am: Entertainment News. Music; Movie and TV news.

8:40am: "What's the Connection". I give you the Mix Six. Six clues as to the thing we are refering to. Person; place or Thing. Nice prizes. Fun to play.
