Tom Kent Bio

In the '70s & '80s Tom Kent ("TK Truckin' Tom Kent") entertained radio audiences all over America in markets as large as Chicago where he worked at the legendary WLS. Tom got off the "radio-go-round" in the late 1980s and worked on the records/music side of things with Elektra bringing the latest hits from Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt to radios near you until the early part of this decade when he decided to go back to what he loved most: RADIO!

Tom missed hearing radio the way he remembered...when he was a part of it...so, he has brought back the high energy stylings and fun that radio was ...mixing in the greatest hits of the 70s and 80s with the Mix 105.3 Saturday Night Ultimate Party Show now heard Saturday nights from 7pm-Midnight.

Tom does a quick turn around and spins the greatest hits of the 1970s Sunday mornings from 6am-11am on Mix 105.3. From the superstars to the one-hit wonders and everything in between it's continuous favorites from the '70s on "My 70s Show" with Tom Kent Sunday mornings on KONA FM.

Tom lives in Cleveland, Ohio---the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and broadcasts from his basement studio.
